NOMAD PAD™

The Nomad Pad has been a fantastic addition to our restaurant. We use it daily to showcase our food preparation process, and it has quickly become a great discussion piece with customers while they’re waiting for their orders. My real estate brokerage recently received a couple of Nomad Pad units to trial before making a purchasing decision, and the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The learning curve was virtually nonexistent, as the interface is modeled after familiar mobile operating systems—similar to an iPad or Android tablet—making the devices incredibly intuitive and user-friendly.

One standout feature for us has been the portability. Because the units are battery powered and mounted on wheels, we can easily move them throughout the office, which is a major advantage in a fast-paced real estate environment. After testing them, I researched comparable products and was surprised to discover that there really isn’t anything else on the market offering the same functionality. LG’s StanByMe, for example, appears similar at first glance, but it’s essentially just a wireless display that you can cast to—it’s not a true standalone device capable of independently installing and running applications the way a Nomad Pad can.

Our office currently uses both the 27" and 32" models, and we find value in each. While there are some feature differences and cost variations between them, they operate similarly and both provide excellent battery life. The Pro version includes a matte display, which is an important consideration if you anticipate using the device in brighter environments where glare could be an issue.

We enjoy our Nomad Pad. Great investment, and the customers like it. We got a 2 minute clip to advertise our food and the public enjoy watching it.

Few changes are required for perfection.
1- a stronger piston. The pad is heavy its unable to remain at its highest position..
2- power cord location. Personally i would of put the power connection on the base and had a cable protruding from the mast to connect power.

I’m not someone who is very techy, but the Nomad Pad has truly been a game changer for me. I bought it so I could Skype and FaceTime with my daughter and grandson more easily, and it has made such a difference. The screen is big and clear, and I don’t have to fuss with cords or complicated setup - it just works.

One of my favorite things is rolling it out onto the deck. I can catch football games while enjoying the sunset and fresh air, something I never thought I’d be able to do at the same time. The battery lasts for hours, so I don’t have to worry about it cutting out in the middle of a game or a call.

It’s also become part of my gatherings - when friends are over, I play music through it on the deck and everyone loves it. The rolling stand makes it so easy to move from room to room, or from indoors to outside, with no effort at all.

The uses have been endless for me. From staying connected with family, to enjoying entertainment, to simply making my home life more fun - the Nomad Pad has been worth every penny.
